The Good, The Bad, The Ugly

Just an update on the slowwwww process of my/diagnosis/treatment for cancer or the "whatever" it is that the doctors so far don't know what to do for me.
I have  wasted the past two weeks of my life, being patient, waiting for the last doctor to come up with some kind of plan, surgery/chemo?
I even called my regular gyno to complain, and beg for another referral to a different doctor. To  no avail. I guess that was me being "Ugly".
I got a call from the so called oncology/gyn specialist's office yesterday, telling me that they had picked out another doctor for me to go to, a "general surgeon", to go over all the tests and biopsies I had in the month of May. What????? Kicked to the curb to another doctor? after waiting for answers for two weeks?
NO,NO, NO. I told them to refer me to the good surgeon who did my breast surgery three years ago.
OK they said, we will call you back, never did. What a surprise."Bad" doctor, bad, bad.

On my way home, my "GOOD" family doctor called me. He had been informed I was being kicked to the curb. He was not happy. He was the one that ordered all the tests, and would call me immediately when he got the results. I told him how much  I appreciated him and that he was the most competent doctor I had ever had. He just laughed and said thank you. He probably doesn't get praised very much. We should all make a point of telling people how much we appreciate them.

Anyhow, I will be calling my favorite surgeon on Monday.
Enough venting for one day.
It's cold here in Ohio, like fall.
The sun is shinning, at least "Bad" doctor gave me some good pain pills to get me through the night. No crazy nightmares last night to write about.
Hugs,
Alma
