Confessions of a Crazy Extreme Couponer

Today's crazy couponing excursions included trips to the local Marc's store to buy the newpapers to get the good coupons in the Sunday paper.
Then there was the trip to the local Family Dollar store to buy 5 bottles of Wisk, that were  on sale for $4 each minus the $2 each coupons I had, making the 5 bottles cost $10 plus tax.( I don't count tax, because it's just plain wrong.
Next was the trip to  Giant Eagle. I had a rain check and coupons for Purex Ultra packs, 18 loads each, making them $1.45 each x 5= $7.25. That total sounds excessive. 5x18 loads = 90 loads. Now I feel better about the price.
Palmolive Dish Soap, 25 oz. on sale, with coupons, 99 cents each x 11=$10.89.
I worked really hard for that dish soap too, because the bottles that were left, were way in the back of a top shelf, I couldn't reach. I wasn't going to embarrass myself by climbing onto the shelves, but I was tempted, so I did the next best thing. I happened to be in the same isle as the mops. Mops are great for dragging things off the top shelves in grocery stores.
Did I buy any food? A little.
Now I have 30cents off a gallon of gas, and enough dish detergent and laundry detergent to keep me and the girls supplied for a little while.
Hugs,
Alma
