Just dropped by to wish everyone a Happy Holiday Season.
I must admit, I don't get into the Holiday Cheery mood, until Christmas Eve.
Everyday life some times just drags me down, or I allow it to drag me down.
There has to be more to life than work, scrapping by, picking up dog poop,and scooping cat poop. (Small prices to pay for: 1) Having a home, 2)Having a dog, 3) Having four cats.)
Let me count my blessings, and get in a better mood: Two great girls, my friends, my little family, the ability to work, and find extra work, when needed.
I did a lot of baking last weekend, that started the Christmas Merry mood.
There is butter, (as Paula Dean says, you can never have too much Butter), flour and sugar to make more cookies this weekend. Production of something, even cookies, alway's makes me feel better.
Production, making some thing out of nothing, out of scraps, like for an afghan, actually finishing something is what makes me feel a sense of accomplishment. Not the JOBS.
Oh well, I think I'm on the upswing of a better mood, hard to tell, isn't it?
