This pattern does not exist, just my manic attempt to do cables. The first cable at the bottom was ok.
The next four cables were a mistake, because after the first cable I thought I could do it on my own, without knit/purling the rows in between the twists.
There are way too many purls between the cables. Next time I will follow a pattern, maybe.
eventually, i'll try my hand at knitting. i dabbled a few years back, circular, but I don't think i'd even remember that. i think that your hat is pretty cool!
